Saying Goodbye

Our last few days in New York were bitter sweet as we said goodbye to our friends who are headed off to all different tribes, tongues and nations. New York was a wonderful experience and we feel more prepared to leave for Honduras. We are happy to be back at home in Charlotte though and appreciate the quietness and stillness of our own home.

Cousin Madison, as she is now called, will be Lucy's best friend and babysitter on the field in Honduras.

The night before we had to leave our friends the Nolls ended up spending the night in our apartment so that we could have one last night all together. Here is Lucy and Noa enjoying their first girls slumber party. Noa and her family are headed to Japan in August.

The Marusich family all making "funny faces" they are headed to England to start a RUF ministry.

You can't tell from Lucy's face in this picture but Chloe and Caroline were her favorite "big sisters" in New York. Lucy's face would light up and she would start screaming with excitement when she saw these girls. Caroline and Chloe are headed to Lima, Peru.
