Lucy on a Boat

Another 1st for Lucy was her trip on the boat. She did great and as you can see from the pictures the motor of the boat made her quite relaxed. While she was on the boat her mommy and daddy got to ride on a jet ski and tube, so needless to say we were glad that she stayed happy for a long time.

We thought Lucy looked like a turtle in her life jacket.

Catching some zzzz's while hanging out with her cousin Betsy.

Will we ever get off this boat?!

Rest and Relaxation.

Swinging with My Buddy Caleb

You have no idea how hard it was to take this picture.

Vacation Time

This was Lucy's first official vacation (not including going to the Grandparent's house) and she had a blast!! Here are a few of our favorite shots.

Enjoying the paddle boat with my folks.

Loving with my cousin Caleb.

Looking cute.

Playing in the pool.

Chillin outside with Daddy Jim.

This is how I liked to sleep in my bed at night.

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated Fathers Day on vacation with the Wall Family in Hiawassee, GA (Lake Chatuge). We had a great week with all the family together.

Lucy gave her daddy a basketball. She can not wait until she gets older to beat her daddy on the court.

Daddy Jim enjoying time with his two grandchildren on Father's Day.

Our Little Paladin

This past weekend we got to go to Greenville for Sean to preach and stopped by Furman. It was fun walking around campus and telling Lucy stories all about how her mom and dad met.

The famous bell tower. Legend has it that the man you kiss under the bell tower is the one you will marry, lets just say Sean and I spent a good amount of time at the bell tower while at college.

You might not can tell in this picture but we are showing Lucy our brick that has our names on it.

Hanging out with Dad by the lake.

I loved watching the ducks!

SOOOOOO Big

This is a new trick that Gannie tried to teach Lucy while we were in the mountains.

Some New Cute Photos

Lucy goes to Camp

This past week we spent at Ridgehaven in the North Carolina mountains. We went through a conference called Living By Grace which was a requirement for us to go on the mission field with MTW.

Here are some pictures of us on a hike with Lucy. She got to see her first waterfall.

Hanging out with Gannie after a bath. Lucy got to spend some quality time with her grandparents this week while we were in meetings. Thank you Gannie and Niece for all your help!!

The Purdy Family

You may remember the Purdy's from earlier post. They are a quiet, simple, fun-loving family who have become some of our dearest (no they are not British) friends during our time in Charlotte. Their son Owen is one of Lucy's best friends and his parents have been a constant source of comfort, joy, and friendship in our lives. Tonight we said goodbye as they are moving on to new adventures, yet wherever they go, they will never escape the blogosphere!

(As you have probably noted, we very rarely post any picture where Lucy is not the certral figure, hence the blog title. That being said, these people have influenced Lucy's life more than she will ever know, and therefore deserve some blog love.)

A Long TIme Coming

Our good friends the Hunts had their baby two weeks ago, and he is finally getting some love on the blog. Sam is a chunk who loves to sleep and chill. Although Lucy loves neither of these things, she has still taken a liking to Sam. Here are some pictures of a recent meeting.
