More of NYC

Yesterday morning we took Lucy and walked around our neighborhood. Here is the street leading up to our building. The church behind us is the historic Riverside Church. As you can tell it is a nice area, Morningside Heights is the academic part of NY and one of the safest neighborhoods. We'll get better pictures soon.

Here we are strolling in Morningside Park with a picnic lunch on board (you can tell from the steps why it is called Morningside Heights).

We found our way to this famous diner which is just down the street from our building. If you can't tell, this is Monk's Diner from Seinfeld, but it is actually called Tom's and the inside looks nothing like the show. Apparently they filmed the inside shots in a studio in LA.

Ah the subway, Lucy's favorite part of the city. She loves seeing all the people and gets excited at all the stops. We spend about 2 hours a day on the subway riding from Manhattan to Queens and back, so we are thrilled that she likes it.

Last night she passed out in the backpack for 45 minutes during the commute, she is the ultimate trooper!

We are going on a tour tomorrow, so check back for more pics with Lucy!

Lucy is going to dream sweet dreams of subway rides. I wonder what an 8 month old thinks of all those different people?
