Saturday Mornings in Manhattan

Whenever Sean and I have the time to sleep late, one of us ends up taking Lucy to the nearby park while the other gets a little extra rest. We switch each Saturday so it turns out to be a pretty sweet deal. On the way home from the park we pick up coffee, juice, and some bagels for breakfast.

Today we had our breakfast in the courtyard of the seminary where we live. This courtyard is a beautiful place to escape from the noise and dirt of New York, it is one of our favorite places to go.

Hi McCanns- Tracy Carson here, I hope you remember me...I am the other half of Keith Carson...LIndsey you did a great impression of me at the SBP a couple of years ago. Anyhoo, found your blog through the Ueckers whom I found through Frances (Ladd) Lightcap (no blog but she told me about the Ueckers. Ok so the point of all of this is...are you going to Honduras with the Pettengills? I think I saw something about them on your blog a couple of posts back. If so, it is totally crazy but Mr. Pettengill is coming to our church in August to speak about your team!! Would that be a small world or what? Wanted to know if that was the deal and would love to connect over e-mail: tracykcarson@hotmail.com We are anxiously awaiting the birth of our baby boy in about 3 weeks, so we might miss Mr. Pettengill, but would love to still connect. Lots of love from Arizona!! Tracy

McCanns....So, in the spirit of TCarson's comment, I too, Philip Lorish, found your blog through the Ueckers who got ahold of me. That said, I didn't know you were in New York (are you at Union?) but we (Lisa and I) are also in the city, but only for another week. Drop me a line and I would be glad to come meet your daughter....plorish@virginia.edu
