To start the day, Lindsey went to a concert put on by our church, Nueva Vida, in Central Park. It was quite the cultural experience. Lucy stayed home with dad and had a great nap.
Then after Lucy's nap, we ate lunch at a Cuban resturante down the street from our apartment. It was neat to see all the different cultures in our neighborhood, at times it really does feel like we are in a foreign country.

After lunch we headed to a huge Fareway grocery store and stocked up for the week. Lucy was our pack horse to take all the food home.

Then tonight we packed up Lucy in her newest transportation device and headed for Queens. Lucy loved her new carrier and slept in it all the way home.

Our new friends the Noll's live in Queens, 75 minutes from us. The girls, yes Noa is a girl, enjoy playing together and we like hanging out with their parents. The girls had a spend-the-night party while the parents watched a movie, then it was back in the sling for Lucy as we headed back to Morningside Heights.

It was a long day, but well worth the effort. More soon.

YAY! You met the Nolls! Sara-Beth and I were both youth group leaders at our church in Harrisonburg, in college. I was hoping y'all would get to connect!
